Alessandro is Head of Investment Strategy at Aberdeen Property Investors. Based in Brussels he is responsible for forecasting property returns across various sectors and city regions. In addition he is also responsible for compiling strategy plans for clients. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Alessandro was Head of European Research for Catella. Before joining Catella he worked for Security Capital, a major American REIT. Prior to that he worked for Eurostat in Luxembourg and for the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich.

Carmine is the Worldwide Real Estate Director of the Gucci Group, for which he has been serving for the last six years. In this role, he coordinates the real estate needs and projects of all the Gucci Group brands and divisions which include: Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Bottega Veneta, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen, Balenciaga etc. He is also Managing Editor of the IBFD loose leaf publication Tax Treatment of Transfer Pricing and of the IBFD magazine Derivatives & Financial Instruments.

TriGranit has emerged as one of the largest property developers in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its establishment in 1997, the company has so far completed projects with a total value of Euro 1.5 billion.

Mat is an investment director for aAIM Europe. He has personally led and executed over €500 million worth of transactions both in the UK and across Europe acting in this role. Mat has been an integral part of investing the Symmetry Fund and is actively seeking well let, high quality real estate investments in Europe. Mat joined aAIM in 2003 with a primary remit of raising equity investment for various aAIM transactions. Since Mat joined, all of aAIM’s syndicates have been over-subscribed. In 2005, Mat successfully launched, closed and listed aAIM Property Fund 1 on the Channel Islands Stock Exchange. This fund is a UK-focused discretionary commercial property fund for high net worth sophisticated investors. While busy doing deals across Europe, Mat was also part of the team that set up aAIM Infrastructure.

Otis is the Director of Portfolio Management for Heitman’s European Private Equity group and Portfolio Manager for Heitman European Property Partners III (HEPP III), the firm’s third in a series of European value-added real estate funds. Prior to joining Heitman, Mr. Spencer worked for ABP Investments in the Netherlands, where he was a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for sourcing, structuring and managing non-listed real estate investments on behalf of ABP’s European and Asia Pacific Strategic Funds. Previous to ABP, Mr. Spencer was the Managing Director of Five Mounts Properties Europe, a real estate private equity firm targeting opportunistic returns. He has also worked for ING Real Estate Asset Management in the Netherlands and The RREEF Funds in the United States.

John is one of the region's longest-serving property practitioners having arrived in Budapest in 1991 following a 13 year career in property in his native Australia. He is the former Managing Director of DTZ Central and Eastern Europe and is currently Head of Central Europe for AXA REIM following his appointment to the position in November 2005. Prior to joining DTZ John worked with both Price Waterhouse (Director - Real Estate Services) and Tesco Stores (Property and Development Director) in Hungary. John is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Australian Property Institute.

As of July 1st Joe is joining Allianz Real Estate in the capacity of Head of Portfolio Management and strategy. Until recently Joe has been is responsible for DTZ's Research. Since 1984, he has been involved with a wide range of research projects for occupiers, developers and investors.

Christian Schulte Eistrup is Managing Director and Head of Capital Raising and Investor Relations of CORESTATE CAPITAL AG. He was previously Head of European Investment Strategy/Research at Morgan Stanley Real Estate, where he was responsible for the formulation of market views and was active in the development and capital raising of real estate private equity funds.

Bill joined JER in 2004. He is responsible for acquisitions in Italy, Turkey, Greece, Benelux and Scandinavia. Bill is a member of the European Investment Committee. Before joining JER, Bill was a Director in the Real Estate Investment Banking team at Credit Suisse First Boston with primary responsibility for Continental Europe. He was involved in corporate finance and capital raising activities for CSFB’s clients in most of the major European markets. Bill worked with the Credit Suisse Group in Switzerland, Italy and the UK for 11 years, prior to which he worked for the State Bank of South Australia Group as a distressed debt specialist. Bill has a Bachelor of Economics from Adelaide and an MBA from Bocconi Universtiy (Milan). He is an Australian national and is fluent in Italian.

Thomas joined Capital Group in the beginning of 2007. His is commercially responsible for all Capital Groups retail real estate projects. Capital Group was founded in 1993 and is a full service property developer. Capital Group has developed or is in the process of developing over 70 commercial and residential real estate projects with a total area of 7,000,000 square meters. Between 2001 and 2006 Thomas held various positions at IKEA Russia’s Real Estate arm where MEGA Family Shopping Centers in Russia and the Ukraine are developed and operated.

Mr. Harris is a qualified chartered accountant and trained at Andersen structuring pan-European real estate investments. Prior to joining MGPA, Mr. Harris worked for Heitman, a U.S. real estate investment manager, where he was involved in numerous transactions throughout central Europe.

Nikolaj Hertel is the CEO of NCC Property Development A/S and has been since 1990. He is one of the most experienced and well-known characters in the Danish real estate market. NCC Property Development A/S, one of the most significant developers in Denmark, is a Danish subsidiary of NCC AB which is listed on the Swedish Stock Exchange.

Daniel is one of Romania’s leading real estate lawyers based in Bucharest and a member of the Bucharest Bar. Mr. Costea's experience includes title check, real estate due diligence, real estate finance and investment structures. He advised on numerous domestic and international transactions involving properties and various other targets located in Romania. Dan has extensive experience in business law matters, and assisted clients in large international private and corporate transactions. He is a partner and founder of Costea, Jalba, Popa SCA, a Romanian law partnership and has worked in the past as a free lancer and legal adviser for the largest Romanian telephony operator.

Matthew is a member of the Real Estate team. He is responsible for European Strategy and is the Fund Manager of the European Property Fund of Funds. Matthew joined BlackRock following the merger with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (MLIM) in 2006. At MLIM, he was the fund manager of the European Property Fund of Funds. Prior to joining MLIM in 2006, he was a Director of European Research and Strategy at LaSalle Investment Management, where he worked for 9 years. Prior to this he had been the Chief Economist of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.

Neil has over 17 years of combined real estate and finance experience. His responsibilities at Carlton include complex debt and equity placement, investment sale and loan sale transactions. Neil is focused on expanding Carlton's office, retail, hotel and multifamily finance and advisory business nationwide and into international markets including Canada, Mexico, Latin America and Europe. Prior to joining Carlton, Neil was involved in over $1 Billion of Conduit and Agency financing transactions through his various senior origination and underwriting positions while at ARCS Commercial Mortgage, LLC, and PW Funding, Inc. two leading Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Mortgage Banking firms, as well as, Citicorp Securities and Lehman Brothers, two leading conduit lenders.

Adil is Director of Research and Investment Strategy at dqdx Consulting, an Anglo-Turkish partnership which advises overseas investors on market analysis and investment strategy in the Turkish property market. With a background in Corporate Strategy and Finance with blue-chip firms in London, and specialising in emerging markets, Adil joined dqdx to bring this focus to the rapidly developing Turkish real estate sector. The firm advises fund managers, institutional investors and the public sector and has worked on some of the country’s leading development projects, most recently with Zaha Hadid Architects on the Istanbul-Kartal masterplan, one of the most important urban regeneration projects in Europe.

Irina has been working in MR Group company since its establishment. MR Group is a leader in creation and execution of full-scaled development projects and has been operating on the real estate market of Moscow and Sochi over 5 years. MR Group has successfully implemented projects whose total area is over 2 million square metres. Irina is responsible for commercial department and liaises with land lords in the process of land plot searching, investors, consultants, architects and tenants. She provides support for the current and future projects, works out sales policy for MR Group’s projects. Nowadays Irina with MR Group’s team work out 5 new multifunctional projects in Moscow.
