Adil is Director of Research and Investment Strategy at dqdx Consulting, an Anglo-Turkish partnership which advises overseas investors on market analysis and investment strategy in the Turkish property market. With a background in Corporate Strategy and Finance with blue-chip firms in London, and specialising in emerging markets, Adil joined dqdx to bring this focus to the rapidly developing Turkish real estate sector. The firm advises fund managers, institutional investors and the public sector and has worked on some of the country’s leading development projects, most recently with Zaha Hadid Architects on the Istanbul-Kartal masterplan, one of the most important urban regeneration projects in Europe.

Rob Bingen is a long term resident of Amsterdam and graduated there as a master in economics with a real estate specialisation. After graduating in 1993 he moved to Dutch fund manager PVF Pensions, where he was responsible for commercial lending and managing global listed real estate. Five years later he moved to ABP where he manages the fund’s indirect portfolio, with a specific focus on Europe - sourcing transactions and negotiating the structure through to completion. His specific brief on joining was to increase the fund’s exposure to European real estate outside the Netherlands. Over the last year or so, he has presided over a number of joint venture transactions in which ABP has been relatively opportunistic.

JOHN GLASSETT is Pradera’s Property Director responsible for its real estate activity across Europe. Pradera is a major investor in EuroZone retail real estate. After a background in building surveying in London, John’s retail real estate experience started at ASDA plc (now Walmart) in 1985 acquiring hypermarket opportunities. He then joined B&Q plc (Kingfisher plc) as Development Controller responsible for expansion and the evolution from “Supercentre” to the US styled category-killing “Warehouse” format. He also explored Europe as a potential market for B & Q. <br><br> Subsequently John became Retail Development Director for Chartwell Land (the real estate company of the Kingfisher Group) managing a portfolio of some £1.2 billion with a development programme of £160 million.

Vladimir Ivanov graduated from Moscow State University's Faculty of Economics in 1990. He started working the same year as an economist in the Russian-Canadian joint venture New Bridge Soviet Telecom. In 1992, he joined Perestroika Joint Venture JSC, where he became Head of the Financial Department in 1994 and later served as Chief Financial Officer. Along with several partners, Mr. Ivanov founded the Spectrum Group of Companies in 1998. Today, Spectrum offers investors a wide range of services throughout the life of a project, combining knowledge of international project management standards with experience working in Russia's one-of-a-kind construction market.
As a specialist Land Economist and a Chartered Surveyor, Angus has been involved with a wide range of international consultancy assignments over the last 30 years and has produced a number of forward looking research publications. Angus wrote the first definitive market reports for the RICS on Prague, Budapest and Warsaw in the early 1990s, was involved in the first in-depth analysis of the investment performance of French Shopping Centres in the 1980s and wrote feasibility reports for projects in Spain, Portugal and Germany. In 2004 he was appointed to the Lyons Implementation Board of the UK Office of Government Commerce and in 2005 advised H M Government on the location for the new Commission for Equality & Human Rights.
Noel G.H. Manns is a co founder and Principal at Europa Capital; a member of its Investment Committee and is responsible for acquisitions by the Europa Funds in Northern Europe and for asset management of the investments acquired. During 1993-2000, he was a non-executive Director of a Bank of England subsidiary managing a distressed real estate loan portfolio which comprised over 250 assets. From 1997 he was a member of the Investment Committee of Property Mezzanine Partners, a UK Mezzanine Fund.
Jonathan Price

Jonathan Price has been an investment banker since 1982, working for various international merchant banks in a number of roles in the capital markets, project finance and privatisation. In 1998 he returned from a posting in Thailand and established Business Centre Capital Co (B3C) to raise capital for the business centre industry. In 2000 B3C was hired by Close Brothers, the independent UK merchant banking group to set up a business centre investment fund and over the next six years B3C established four business centre funds under the Close brand including the world’s first fund for this sector open to individual investors. Jonathan is an active member of both the UK Business Centre Association and of the US Office Business Center Association International . Under Jonathan’s leadership B3C is preparing a major new international fund for the serviced office sector that will integrate the operations with the underlying property assets in both developed and developing markets.
